About The Artist My name is John Parent. I'm a Photographer based in Hyannis, Massachusetts. My interest in photography started in high school as yearbook photographer. I then attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. I majored in portraiture and commercial photography. My first job was at Massachusetts General Hospital as a medical photographer. From there, I was employed at John Hancock Insurance Company as a corporate photographer. I moved to West Palm Beach, Florida and worked for a modeling agency specializing in portfolios. Since 2004, I have been specializing in product photography for advertising and web sites. The name of my company is Golden Light Studio. In my spare time, I have been gardening, photographing flowers and producing fine art prints.
